Location/Area
This condo is in the Lances West Complex on Broken
Lance Drive - just one block west of Main Street on the South end of town. Broken Lance Drive turns into Boreas Pass Road on the other side of Main Street. From the condo there is a walking path that will take you to the Quick Silver Lifts on Peak 9 in 5 minutes. Below the lifts is Maggie Pond - an outdoor ice rink in the winter and a place for paddle boats and concerts in the summer. Also at Maggie Pond, the downtown shopping begins with restaurants, art galleries, clothing stores, jewelry stores, recreational equipment rentals and so much more!
SHUTTLE SERVICES
The town offers free shuttle services throughout with a stop in front of condo complex. The town shuttle has just one stop before it will drop you off in front of The Village to get closer to the lifts. Next to The Riverwalk sits the main shuttle station with Summit Stage connections to free shuttle services to other resorts such as Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, and Copper Mountain. Don't forget to ride the old fashion trolley up and down Main Street too.
GROCERIES
We are 1 block away from Main Street and a block further north there is a small local convenience/grocery store. You can also take the bus or walk about 35 minutes to a larger City Market grocery store on the north end of town.
ICE SKATING
There are three ice skating rinks in Breckenridge. One is located at the Breckenridge Recreation Center where you can also find a rock climbing wall, racquet ball, tennis courts,
basketball courts, two huge pools - one with a large slide and fountain (great for small children), weight rooms, exercise rooms and more. The other iceskating spot Stephen C. Ice Arena, is just two blocks to the east of us and there is an indoor and an outdoor rink to enjoy. This is also a good place to temporarily park if you need to move your vehicle to allow the Lances West parking lot to be plowed. Maggie Pond offers outdoor skating later in each season.
SLEDDING
A perfect sledding hill for all ages is located at Carter Park behind the local elementary school - it is about a 15 minute walk. Sleds are provided in each condo.
BIKING
There are over 50 miles of bike trails throughout Summit County that start just a few blocks away and can take you all the way to Vail.
HIKING
Hiking Trails are just up the slope of the resort as it backs to
National Forest. There are several others throughout Summit County.
BOATING
Breckenridge is about a 20 minute drive to the Frisco Bay Marina of Dillon Reservoir where boats, kayaks and canoes can all be rented.
We strongly encourage a visit to the local Visitor's Center. Set up like a museum, they can give you advice and maps of bike trails, hiking trails and much more.

FAMILY/SPORTS
Across from The Columbine Cafe is our favorite family restaurant, Downstairs at Eric's...salads, burgers and pizza are all fabulous and the kids are amused with video games galore. This one is particularly popular when a good game is on so plan for a crowd.

MiCasa is right across the street from Liftside on South Park Avenue and has a nice atmosphere and good Mexican food.
