DEALS DEALS DEALS!!!

Everyone is always looking for a great deal...especially in these economic times. Therefore we have put together a list of places to find great deals to compliment your stay in Breckenridge. If you find a better deal, please let us know so we can add it to our list!

Discounts Lift Tickets

Breckenridge wants the best piece of the action and therefore for the past few years, I haven't found better deals for lift tickets than what you can buy online in advance on their own website at www.snow.com. They offer better deals for multi-day tickets and if you sign up for a Peaks Card, you can earn points to use toward future trips. Look for a SMART PASS.

The next best option is to stop in Frisco at the SAFEWAY grocery store on Highway 9 or any other SAFEWAY in Colorado. They also sell multi-day tickets for just $4-$5 more and you don't have to worry about advance purchases.

Finally, some ski rental shops offer discounted tickets so check with them as well.

Discount Ski/Board Rentals

The rule of thumb here is the further you are from the slopes, the cheaper your rental costs. Renting in Frisco is generally cheaper than renting in Breckenridge and renting at the lifts will cost the most. If you rent equipment that doesn't fit right, or perhaps performs poorly, it is more difficult to exchange the further you are from the slopes.

If price is your biggest determining factor, I recommend renting at www.KingdomSports.com (970) 452-6331 in the Summit Ridge Center (next to AM Services if you are renting the Liftside Unit and need to pick up keys) on the most southern side of town. They will likely be your cheapest in town rentals...in fact, if their policies are the same this season as they have been in the past, they guarantee the lowest prices.

The next best bet is www.CharterSports.com located in the Marriot building on the east side of Maggie Pond. This one is within walking distance from the lifts and there are usually half price coupons at the Visitor's Center in town.

Finally, if convenience is your preference, in both the Liftside and Beaver Run buildings there is Breckenridge Sports. At Liftside the number is (970)453-3000 and at Beaver Run it is 800-544-6648. You can get a discount by booking with them in advance online at www.rentskis.com. Breckenridge Sports is used if you plan to take lessons of any kind with rental equipment included. Usually there is a GREAT deal on rentals if you do take a lesson so be sure to get a package deal.
